Southern Pecan Pie



Southern Pecan Pie

            2 fresh or frozen pie shells       2 Tbsp corn meal 1 stick of melted butter       1 box of brown sugar
            4 eggs                                        3 cups of pecans                                               2 Tbsp water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.  Throw all ingredients (except pecans) in a bowl and stir.  Pour 1½ cup of pecans in the pastry shell.  Pour ½ of the mixture over the pecans.  Pour other 1½ cup of pecans into the second pastry shell.  Pour the remaining ½ mixture into pie shell.  Bake both pies in the preheated oven for approximately 50 minutes (watching and being careful not to burn pecans on top).
