Asian Beef & Broccoli
(Microwave Recipe)
10.5 oz sliced lean beef 10.5 oz broccoli 1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp corn starch 1 tsp sherry (or white wine) ½ tsp salt
1 clove garlic, minced 1 slice ginger, minced 1 scallion, sliced thin
4 Tbsp oil (divided)
Directions:
Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces and mix them with 2 Tbsp of oil. Cover and set aside.
Marinate the beef with soy sauce, sherry (or wine), garlic, ginger, scallion, and corn starch for at least 15 minutes.
Add 2 Tbsp of oil and mix. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Add 2 Tbsp of oil and mix. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Add broccoli and salt. Stir to mix. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Serve over white rice if desired.
